26th - A Water Pipit was again seen at the mouth of the Yeo at Clevedon were there were also c2000 Dunlin, a Spotted Redshank, a female Merlin, c35 Knot and 2 Grey Plovers.

25th - A Water Pipit was at the mouth of the Yeo at Clevedon, also on the coast here there were , c40 Shelduck, 70 Wigeon, 60 Teal, 4 Little Egrets, 14 Oystercatchers, 17 Grey Plover, 25 Lapwing, c80 Knot, c2300 Dunlin, a Jack Snipe, c50 Curlew, c100 Redshank, 20 Turnstones and 2 GBB Gull. A Little Owl was at the Perfect Bite Pools.  At Weston Moor there were 40 Mallard (many birds pairing up), 35 Teal, 33 Lapwing, a Jack Snipe, 84 Snipe, 3 Stonechats and 4 Buzzards.

24th - A high count of 31 Little Egrets was made in the field near the Perfect Bite Pools today.  On the coast at Clevedon there were 2 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 30 Knot and c1500 Dunlin.

23rd - Five Purple Sandpipers seen at Battery Point.

22nd - A Little Stint was a nice find at Clevedon today, also there were 70 Shelduck, 110 Wigeon, 40 Teal, a male Shoveler, 24 Oystercatchers, 12 Grey Plover, 30+ Lapwing, 23 Knot, 1400+ Dunlin, a Snipe, 20+ Curlew, 140 Redshank and 38 Turnstones.

20th - Today at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve there were 300 Teal. 80 Wigeon, the female Goldeneye, 8 Shoveler, 70 Shelduck, 75 Redshank and 2 Stonechats.

18th - Three Purple Sandpipers were at Battery Point along with a couple of Rock Pipits.  Three Pochard were on the Boating Lake.  At Clevedon there was a Grey Wagtail, a Little Egret, several Stonechats and a Snipe in the marsh at Wains Hill.  Four Little Grebes were on the Blind Yeo.

17th - At the Clevedon Yeo today there was a Cetti's Warbler near Channel View Farm (with another at Blakes Pools), 3 Goosanders, 25 Little Egrets, a Male Pintail, Spotted Redshank, 3/4 Knot, 40 Grey Plover and 2000= Dunlin.

15th - Two Barn Owls were seen at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve and the Goldeneye was still there along with 3 Stonechats and a Water Rail.  At the Clevedon Yeo there were 10 Little Egrets, 2 Golden Plover, 26 Grey Plover, 120+ Lapwing, 350 Dunlin, 80+ Redshank, 24 Turnstones, and 2 Stonechats.

11th - A Chiffchaff and a Little Owl were seen at the Perfect Bite Pools, Clevedon today.  On the coast here there were only 2 Golden Plover left from yesterdays influx and 40+ Knot in with the Dunlin.  At Weston Moor there was a Little Grebe, a Tufted Duck, 63 Teal, 2 Buzzard in display, a Stonechat, 22 Lapwing, 45 Fieldfare and 59 Snipe.  At Portishead Boating Lake there were 3 Little Grebes, 7 Pochard and 2 Tufted Ducks.

10th - There was an influx of Golden Plovers at the Clevedon-Yeo with c500 seen, also here were 30 Knot, 9 Shoveler and a Merlin.  At Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve there were 2 Barn Owls. c140 Teal, c45 Wigeon, c300 Dunlin, the female Goldenye and some mad Coots appeared to be nest building!

8th - At the Clevedon-Yeo today there were 80+ Wigeon, 40+ Teal, a Merlin, 16 Oystercatchers, 3 Golden Plover, 35 Grey Plover, 150+ Lapwing, c800 Dunlin, 5 Snipe, 90+ Curlew, a Spotted Redshank, 120 Common Redshank, c30 Turnstones and 2 Skylarks.
 
5th - A pair of Pintail were seen at the Clevedon-Yeo along with the usual extras.
 
4th - A cold frosty morning gave way to a very pleasant day with clear blue skies.  Alas no sign of the Ring-billed Gull at Portbury Wharf Today.  The Goldeneye was still present as were 18 Shoveler, a pair of Gadwalls, a Little Egret and 2 Barn Owls during various visits during the day.  At the Clevedon-Yeo there were c40 Shelduck, 90 Wigeon, 70 Teal, 27 Oystercatchers, 12 Ringed Plover, 36 Grey Plover, 160 Lapwing, 2 Knot, c900 Dunlin, 3 Snipe, c200 Curlew, 160 Redshank, c30 Turnstones, a Grey Wagtail, a Goosander, a Little Egret, a Sparrowhawk and a Kingfisher.
 
3rd - A Ring-Billed Gull was an excellent find at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve this morning, regretfully it did not linger very long, lets hope it turn up again. Also here were 3 Stonechats, 2 Ravens, c350 Dunlin, 60 Lapwing, the female Goldeneye, a Kingfisher and a Med Gull. Three Purple Sandpipers were at Battery Point.
 
2nd - A female Goldeneye was seen at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve today and has been their for a few days.
